Is The Mobile Phone A Niche?

With mobile phones doing all that they do today, mainly smart phones, with all the apps, lets look at possible niche ideas. Well of course we have the history of cell phones including the size back then to now, and its capabilities. All of the competitors, those that still stand, and those that have faded away. There are only a few phone companies running the mobile phone service, however tons of companies have joined in making cell phones, with lots of features. My first cell phone was a thick black phone with T-Mobile service,:/, then the little grey phone with Metro PCS. Today both phones are worthless yet I spent good money for them. Now I have a Samsung Omnia II, what a phone. So many features, entertainment apps, 5.0 mega pixel camera, Microsoft Windows, wow.

This arena for a niche will surely have to be a micro niche, down to the last compound. Being that cell phones come and go and are updated frequently this niche will always be around. Also since Google announced that everything they do from now on will be made to fit mobile first then the net its clear mobile phones will be around and out doing the internet soon. Its estimated 709 billion people will have a cell phone by 2015. Advertising on mobile is a very hot micro niche today.

Most of my work gets done on the phone since it is easier to carry unlike the desktop and even laptops. Its like having a business in my pocket. I also have my RSS feed at my fingertips.
